Using SEK.
SEK provides educational explanations, comparisons and illustrative tools. Apply what you learn in the context of your equipment and circumstances, and follow the relevant manufacturer's instructions. We aim for accuracy and welcome corrections; content may be updated as our explanations improve.
Your collections.
You control the notes and links you save. Collections are stored in the current browser and can be lost when storage is cleared or becomes unavailable. Use the backup feature to keep a separate copy. Do not use the contact form or import features to send harmful code, abuse others or interfere with the service.
Content and references.
SEK's original explanations and illustrations belong to the operator. Supporting references belong to their respective publishers. Links identify supporting material and do not imply an affiliation or endorsement. You may share ordinary links to public SEK pages.
Availability and limitations.
The interactive scenes approximate selected effects and are not predictions of a specific camera. The service may change or be temporarily unavailable. Nothing on this page removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
